According to the College Board, the number of students taking AP® Exams reached an all-time high in 2013-2014. Over 2.3 million students took AP exams, with an average of two exams per student. And gaining admittance to top colleges, as well as finding your first career opportunity, continues to be very challenging. Given limited budgets, how does a district offer all the advanced courses needed for students to be successful?
Online learning can be an affordable way to offer each of your students a rich set of options to help them excel in advanced courses.
We offer a full range of Advanced Placement® (AP®) and Honors-level online courses in core subject areas as well as world languages, supported either by our certified teachers or a district teacher.
Our Honors courses are rigorous and designed for an advanced student. Students synthesize and evaluate information and concepts from multiple sources and read texts typically assigned in college-level courses. Students also demonstrate college-level writing in essays that require analysis of primary and secondary sources, responsible use of evidence, and comprehensive citation of sources. Successful completion of prerequisites, teacher/school counselor recommendation, and a strong interest in the subject are recommended for enrollment in a Fuel Education Honors course.
AP® courses from Fuel Education are college-level courses that follow curriculum specified by the College Board. These courses are designed to prepare students for success on AP® exams, providing students the opportunity to earn credit at most of the nation's colleges and universities. Successful completion of prerequisites, teacher/school counselor recommendation, and a strong interest in the subject are recommended for enrollment in an AP® online course.
